JUVIAS PLACE NUBIAN 2 PALETTE REVIEW & SWACTHES

Hey my loves! So I recently purchased the Juvias place nubian 2  palette. All the photos, makeup tutorials and swatches made me fall in love with it even before buying it. Knowing that he brand is owned by a Nigerian is also very exciting. If you follow me on Instagram, you would've also seen me create looks with this very palette. I also used the palette to create a sexy neutral makeup on my youtube channel

The palette comes in a cardboard package with a magnetic lid which is the same packaging as all their other palettes. It has the drawing of a beautiful African queen in front of it.
It has a total of 12 different eyeshadow shades which consists of 8 shimmer shades and 4 matte shades. Each eyeshadow pan is really large and you can be very sure that it will last you a lot longer than your normal eyshadows do.
With theses shades, I have created subtle neutral eyeshadow looks and bold/daring looks therefore making it a versatile palette.

As usual, each eyeshadow is named after an African city, a historical African elite or an historical African place. Basically, this brand celebrates the African culture and I am definitely here for it!

As for texture, the matte shades are very smooth and silky but the least silky of them all is the shade Jezebel. It is very smooth but not as smooth as its other sisters.
All the shimmer shades are extremely beautiful. Yaa is somewhat of a duo-chrome eyeshadow which is bronze and has specs of gold in it. Leyla is eggplant colour and has specs of blue in it.
Sheba, Yaa, Zuri and Egypt feel more like pressed pigments as they are extremely pigmented and easily adhere to your brush without any hassle.

In general, each and every single shade in this palette is very pigmented.
Application of the shadows is also quite easy due to their pigmentation and smooth texture.
I also haven't had any problem with the longevity of the product. Most times, they pretty much look the exact same way after over 12 hours of application.
Do I recommend this palette? Yes I do. I don't think i'll stop obsessing over it any time soon.
